The following terms and conditions apply to rental of any apartment,
condo, or loft arranged through Brazil Fiesta. Please review our General Terms and Conditions for your
International and domestic airfare and visa processing policies.
Rental Policies:
Brazil Fiesta acts only as a rental agent when arranging accommodations
in our advertised private apartments / condos / lofts. Brazil Fiesta
does not own all properties being offered and acts as a rental agent
for the actual owner of the property. Unused nights in rental
properties are not refundable. General contract terms and pre-payment
is required for all properties.
Method of Payment:
All fees and charges are payable directly to Brazil Fiesta. We are your
tour operator and agent. Credit card payments made with Visa,
Mastercard, and American Express will be charged a 3.5% service fee on
all rentals. Payment is due in full prior to your arrival at the
property.
Holding Your Reservation:
A deposit of 50% of the total rental fees due is required to hold all
reservations. Reservations during peak travel dates (December - March)
require full payment to confirm reservation. Confirmation will be made
by return mail (or e-mail) after receipt of deposit/full payment.
Complete refunds on deposits will be made for cancellations received
more than 90 days prior to the date of your arrival.
Balance Due:
All balances due must be paid in-full, 60 days prior to arrival.
Vouchers:
Vouchers for accommodations, airport transfers and other services will
be issued to Brazil Fiesta on behalf of the traveler, via e-mail, fax
or regular mail, upon receipt of final payment. You must inform Brazil
Fiesta your preferred method of receiving vouchers.
Important Rules:
Many clients opt to rent private properties in Brazil due to any number
of reasons. Each property has different guidelines and regulations on
what is permitted and what is not when renting the property. Your
Brazil Fiesta agent will outline which of the properties best suits
your needs. Some clients prefer to rent private residencies which
allows them to "hook-up" with singles while in Brazil. These activities
are not permitted in Brazilian hotels, which is one of the main reasons
for renting private properties. Not all properties offered by Brazil
Fiesta have this "open-door" policy. Your agent will discuss the
properties that best suit your needs. Additionally, rental clients are
encouraged to not host large parties at these private residencies.
Rental clients are responsible for any damages during their stay as
well as any missing property. Invite your guests accordingly.
Cancellations:
Private apartment owners must schedule the dates they are expecting
clients well in advance. There are many times when high-demand presents
owners with the opportunity to fill the space during peak times.
Cancellations are often a detriment if not done in a timely manner.
Brazil Fiesta charges the following cancellation penalties for private
apartment rentals:
60 to 90 days before departure: 20% of total rental
fees (US$)
30 to 59 days before departure: 35% of total rental
fees (US$)
15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of total rental
fees (US$)
8 to 14 days before departure: 75% of total rental
fees (US$)
7 days or less: 100% of rental fees
Refunds will not be issued for the unused portion of a guest's stay due
to early departure. Payments are in U.S. currency.
Important Note:
Brazil Fiesta recommends anybody traveling to Brazil to purchase a travel insurance policy. Travel insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, baggage delay or loss, medical/dental expenses, emergency assistance, and accident insurance. Brazil Fiesta is a fully licensed,
bonded, and accredited seller of travel services.
