1. Please provide a passport valid for six months from the date of intended arrival in Brazil. We can renew U.S. passports. Please be sure passport is signed and valid.
2. For better service - include a completed Brazil Fiesta Visa Information Form to provide us with more details on mailing your material back to you.
3. A visa application form is required for each applicant. Type or print your information. Be certain the copy sent to us has an original signature. You may want to make a copy of the completed application for your records - it will not be returned to you.
4. Include one passport-type photo (2"x 2") in either color or black and white. Snapshots and computer generated prints (ie. personal color printer) will not be accepted.
5. A letter must be produced on company letterhead from the employer of the applicant requesting the business visa. The letter must be addressed to the Consulate of Brazil. The following information must be included in the letter: Employee's name and title, how long he/she has worked for the company, the nature of activity to be conducted in Brazil, and the duration of the trip. Additional information will be needed for technical, consulting and training visas (work visa). Please contact us for details.
6. Self-employed applicants are required to produce a letter from his/her bank that includes some financial record and proof of business ownership.
7. Most business visas are good for multiple entries for the duration of the visa and travelers must enter Brazil within 90 days of its issuance. Each stay may not exceed the term of the visa, unless extended by immigration authorities in Brazil.
8. Bearers of Business visas may not engage in gainful employment of any kind while in Brazil. Training and technical consulting engagements within Brazil require a work visa. Please refer to the Consulate's work visa page for additional information.
9. Brazil Fiesta has associate relationships with other agencies nationwide. We can process visas for all of the jurisdictions outlined by the Brazilian Embassy. Please contact us for details.
10. Billing. We provide billing options for corporate clients. Individuals can request invoices and we can bill accounts as necessary. We accept check and money orders for our service fees. Brazilian Consulate fees must be paid with official US Postal Service money orders made payable to the Brazilian Consulate. 11. Mailing. Visas are generally processed within 3 to 10 business days of delivery to the Consulate, depending on which Consulate as well as time of year. Our service utilizes USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail to ship your documents back to you. You can request USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or Express Mail with our Visa Information Form. We do provide a rush service. 12. Fees. Business visas can range in price depending on the visa-type granted by the visa officer at the Consulate. Brazil Fiesta's general service fee on business visas is $60.00 for those residing/working within Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California zip codes 933+, or $85.00 for those outside the Brazilian Consulate General in San Francisco's jurisdiction in addition to $200.00-$260.00 in total consulate fees. Payment for $200.00 in an official US Postal Service money order made payable to the Brazilian Consulate should be anticipated for regular business visas. (*We can purchase a money order on your behalf for a $5.00 service fee) Include Brazil Fiesta's service fees plus shipping in a separate payment.
