The following terms and conditions apply to the packages offered by High Hook Fishing Tours. Please review our General Terms and Conditions for your International and domestic airfare and visa processing policies.
Fishing Policies:
All High Hook Fishing properties maintain a strict policy of catch-and-release. Their objective is to help maintain a renewable resource, which will continue to give years of pleasure to the sportfishing community.
Method of Payment:
All fees and charges are payable directly to Brazil Fiesta. We are your tour operator and agent. Brazil Fiesta is a High Hook Fishing Tours authorized agent.
Holding Your Reservation:
A deposit of US$1,000 (one thousand dollars) per person is required to hold all reservations. Confirmation will be made by return mail (or e-mail) after receipt of deposit. Complete refunds on deposits will be made for cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the date of your arrival. Carefully read the following General Terms and Conditions.
Balance Due:
All balances due must be paid in-full, 60 days prior to arrival.
Vouchers:
Vouchers for accommodations, airport transfers and other services will be issued to Brazil Fiesta on behalf of the traveler, via e-mail, fax or regular mail, upon receipt of final payment. You must inform Brazil Fiesta your preferred method of receiving vouchers.
Tipping:
While tipping is not mandatory, it is customary to provide a gratuity to your guides, to show your appreciation for "a job well done". Hopefully you'll be more than satisfied with the service, support and professional skills they provide. We recommend gratuities of $10.00 per person, per day for your guide, for each day of fishing and ecotourism.
Cancellations:
In preparing for your stay, professional staff is scheduled in advance for the service required during your visit. Late cancellations prevent High Hook Fishing Tours from being able to reschedule their time, or their available space . Please, keep in mind that their properties are located in remote areas, so in order to assure you the very best in the way of service, requires a bit more advance planning on their part. At the time High Hook Fishing Tours receive written notice that you must cancel your trip, the following fees will be charged:
60 to 90 days before departure: US$ 500
30 to 59 days before departure: US$ 1,000
15 to 29 days before departure: US$ 2,000
8 to 14 days before departure: US$ 2,500
7 days or less: 100% of tour package
In addition to the fees above, Brazil Fiesta charges a US $100 per passenger cancellation penalty anytime prior to your departure date.
Refunds will not be issued for the unused portion of a guest's stay, due to early departure. A fee of US$100 per person will be charged for unscheduled land transport to regional airports. Payments are in U.S. currency.
Important Note:
Brazil Fiesta recommends anybody traveling to Brazil to purchase a travel insurance policy. Travel insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, baggage delay or loss, medical/dental expenses, emergency assistance, and accident insurance.
