The ideal location for year-round angling for huge Dourado and catfish – on the border of Argentina and Paraguay. The Gemini Banks operation boasts a reputation that few can match – staffed with professional local guides, who will take you to the best fishing grounds in the world for battling Dourado and giant catfish – on the waters of the Paraná River. You'll easily claim bragging rights, just for exhibiting the stamina to outlast these brutes. Two or three hours to land a record-size fish is the norm.

Located in the city of Ituzaingó, Argentina at the edge of the Paraná River, the Yacyretã Hotel hosts our guests, offering air-conditioned bedrooms with private bath, telephone and TV, as well as individual terraces with expansive views of the Paraná River. Gemini Banks has everything you'll need for your next fishing expedition – comfort, quality Argentine cuisine and the perfect fishery - where the giant Dourado, catfish and Pacu congregate to eat their fill on the Paraná River.
The city of Ituzaingó is located 50 miles from Posadas, capital city of the Province of Corrientes, in northeastern Argentina, where the Yacyretá hydroelectric dam was built along the Paraná River in 1973.
The Paraná River formed by the junction of the Paranaíba and the Rio Grande, constitutes the second largest drainage system in South America. The Paraná flows in a general southwest direction to its confluence with the Paraguay River, forming the southern border of Paraguay, then south and east through northeast Argentina to join the Uruguay River in a huge delta at the head of the Rio de la Plata.
