General Brazilian Visa Information

The following information refers to ALL types of Brazilian visa applications. Here are some tips on completing applications, passport requirements, itineraries, mailing your documents, and fees.

1. Applications
Each applicant (including minors) require a visa application. You can

fill out an application at this link.You may want to make a second photocopy of the completed application for yourself - it will not be returned to you. Below are some items to consider:

• Submitted pictures should be Passport photos or similar. Snapshots and computer generated prints (ie. color personal printer) will not be accepted. You only need to submit one photo.
• You will need to submit a copy of your online application along with your application number.
• Please note: Business Visas require additional documents than tourist visas.

2. Passports
Your physical passport must be sent to us. The visa is printed inside of your passport. We will return the completed visa and passport to you. Please be sure your passport is signed and will not expire within 6 months of the intended travel date. We can renew U.S. passports. Passports must also have at least two empty visa pages available in order to request a Brazilian visa. We can obtain additional visa pages for your U.S. passport.

3. Itineraries
Please include a copy (photocopy) of your travel arrangements showing your journey into and out of Brazil. You should

contact us if you still need to book your reservations. Itineraries can be copies of E-tickets or electronic itineraries printed online. The document simply needs your name, destination(s), and dates of travel.

• Itineraries showing your entry into Brazil (during any segment of your trip) from the following countries require photocopy proof of current Yellow Fever Immunization: Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina, Cameroon, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equador, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Sierra Leone, Sudan and Venezuela. This includes trips into the Amazon Jungle within Brazil during any part of your visit.

4. Mailing your documents.
We strongly recommend you send your passport and other materials to us with a service that provides you with tracking (ie. FedEx, UPS, US Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation).

• Our service utilizes USPS Priority Mail to ship your documents back to you. You can also request USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or USPS Express Mail with our Visa Information Form.

5. Fees
Consular fees must be paid with an official US Postal Service money order made payable to the Brazilian Consulate (news) (*We can purchase a money order on your behalf for a $5.00 service fee). We accept money orders and personal checks for Brazil Fiesta's service fees plus shipping. Include a copy of our Visa Information Form with your mailed-in material.

• General service on Tourist visas is $150.00 in Consular fees (payable by USPS Money Order only) and Brazil Fiesta service fees for those served by the Consulate General of Brazil in San Francisco. You can specify shipping options on our Visa Information Form. Please contact us for information on rush fees and group rates. Brazil Fiesta can process out-of-jurisdiction visas for other consulates. Contact us for details.
  
• General service on Business visas is $210.00 to $275.00 in Consular fees (payable by USPS Money Order only) and Brazil Fiesta service fees for those served by the Consulate General of Brazil in San Francisco, which covers residents of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California zip codes 933+, For those residing in all other Brazilian Consulate jurisdictions will require special processing.
